So, something big has happened...
It's the Green Monster, and I recently worked up the courage to mix one up for myself and down it. It's the perfect running fuel and I love it. Mix one for youself!
This one consisted of:
-1 large handful spinach
-1/2 honey crisp apple
-1 cup vanilla almond milk
-1 large dollop vanilla yogurt
This seemed like the safest combo for a newb like me. om nom nom!
So, the winter running has yet to commence but I did receive my Yak Trax in the mail and am dying to try them out.
Not that I'm complaining, I'm very content with the dry roads and mild-ish days. I've gotten some great long runs in and my coldout tights have been keeping me comfy and cozy!
The next organized run I have coming up is a Resolution run on New Years Eve. Should be a fun 5k and a great way to end a year of great running, even if I didn't get in as much running as I would have liked.
